Supervised GLP-1 programs (Semaglutide & Tirzepatide) and non-GLP medical weight loss, designed for Lawrence residents by an MD-led team in next-door Cedarhurst. In-office or telehealth — wherever works for you.
Not sure? The free consult is designed to answer exactly that.
Lawrence residents are minutes from our clinic at 409B Central Avenue in Cedarhurst — the heart of the Five Towns. Whether you prefer to come in for your initial visit or handle everything by telehealth, our team is built to make this easy.
We also serve Inwood, Far Rockaway, Woodmere, Hewlett, and patients across New York State via telehealth. You don’t need to travel far to access a real, supervised weight-loss program.
We built a streamlined intake so you spend less time on logistics and more time actually losing weight.
A quick call or in-office visit with our team. We review your goals, health history, and any medications. No obligation — just clarity on what’s right for you.
A full intake with Peiman Ghatan, PA-C or Dr. Jack Fatiha covers vitals, relevant labs, and prior weight-loss history. This shapes your starting dose and program structure.
You receive a prescription (GLP-1 or non-GLP, whichever fits) along with an injection or pill schedule, starting dose, and nutritional guidance from our registered dietitian Asal Hakim, RD.
Once your protocol is established, most follow-ups are handled by telehealth — dosage adjustments, side-effect management, and progress reviews from anywhere in New York State.
As you approach your goal weight, we work with you on a tapering strategy and long-term lifestyle plan — so results don’t end when the program does.
Not every GLP-1 is the same. Our providers choose based on your history, goals, and tolerance.
Active ingredient in Ozempic & Wegovy
Once-weekly subcutaneous injection. Reduces appetite by mimicking the GLP-1 hormone produced after meals. Strong clinical evidence for sustained weight loss when combined with lifestyle changes.
Active ingredient in Mounjaro & Zepbound
Once-weekly injection targeting both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. Clinical trials show higher average weight loss than semaglutide alone — often recommended for patients who need a stronger response.
Oral medications & adjunct therapies
For patients who are not candidates for injectable GLP-1 medications or prefer an oral-first approach. Our team evaluates FDA-approved oral options alongside nutritional and behavioral support.
Weight loss works best when medical supervision, clinical nutrition, and lifestyle guidance are coordinated. That’s why we built TonedMD as a team practice.
