There is a significant gap between knowing that IV therapy might help you feel better and actually finding the time and energy to go somewhere and get it. That gap is exactly why TonedMD built a mobile IV service that brings a registered nurse to your home, your office, or wherever is most convenient. No waiting rooms, no parking, no commute — just a clean, professional appointment that happens where you already are.

This article covers how the service works, what we offer, who it is well-suited for, and how to prepare for your first appointment.

How Mobile IV Therapy Works at TonedMD

Booking is the first step. You can schedule by calling or texting our Cedarhurst office at (516) 453-4553, or through our website. When you book, you will fill out a brief health intake form so the nurse can review your history before arriving.

On the day of your appointment, one of our registered nurses arrives at your location with everything needed for the session: sterile supplies, the drip formulation you have selected, a portable IV pole, vitals equipment, and any add-ons you have requested. The nurse takes your blood pressure and pulse, reviews your intake form with you, and confirms your drip selection. Once the IV line is placed — typically in the forearm or hand — the infusion runs on its own while you sit comfortably. Most drips take 45–60 minutes to infuse. After the session, the nurse removes the line, provides aftercare notes, and clears out, usually within 90 minutes of arrival.

Our IV menu is designed around the conditions and goals our patients actually come to us for. Common options include:

Add-ons are available for most drips, including glutathione pushes, extra B vitamins, or anti-nausea medication. Your nurse will walk through the options with you at the start of the appointment.

Where We Serve

TonedMD's mobile IV service covers the Five Towns area of Nassau County, including Cedarhurst, Lawrence, Woodmere, Hewlett, and Valley Stream, along with parts of Rockaway and surrounding communities. If you are outside that area, call us — we accommodate requests case by case and can often work something out for established patients.

Who Benefits Most from At-Home IV Therapy

The convenience factor attracts a wide range of patients. Parents with young children who cannot easily get to a clinic, professionals who work long hours and want recovery without adding another errand, patients recovering from illness who do not want to travel, and people who are already on a TonedMD weight-loss program and want supportive metabolic therapy are all common cases.

IV therapy is also genuinely useful for patients who find that oral supplements produce GI discomfort. Because IV delivery bypasses the digestive system entirely, nutrients reach your bloodstream directly — which is especially relevant for high-dose vitamin C and certain B vitamins.

How to Prepare

A few simple steps make the appointment go smoothly:

Booking Your First Appointment

The easiest way to get started is to call or text (516) 453-4553 or book online through TonedMD. If you are already a patient with us for weight loss or aesthetics, mention that when you book — we can often coordinate your IV appointment to complement your existing care plan. If this is your first time, a brief phone consultation with our team is included at no charge so we can make sure the right drip is ready when we arrive.
